General
All patients have a rest period from 1pm - 3pm. We request no visitors or phone calls to patients during this rest period.
New mothers and babies need time to get to know each other. Here at Maitland Private Hospital their visiting times are 3pm - 5pm and 7pm - 8pm.
The Rehabilitation Unit plans patient treatment programs during weekday mornings. Visiting times in the Rehabilitation Unit are: 3pm - 8pm
Please also observe any signage and instructions relating to the use of mobile phones in the hospital as some devices may interfere with medical equipment.

Parking & Security
Maitland Private Hospital provides free parking for all patients and visitors.
The car park is open 24 hours a day.
While the Hospital grounds are monitored, we take no responsibility for the security of your vehicle while parked at the hospital.
Do not leave valuables in your vehicle and remember to ensure your car is locked before you leave it.
Visitor Facilities
There is no hospital cafeteria for visitors
Red Cross Kiosk
The Red Cross Cafe is located in the main hospital building on the ground floor and is open Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm. The Cafe sells a selection of snacks, gifts and basic toiletries. It is run by local volunteers and all profits go directly to Red Cross charities.
Dispensing Machines
Dispensing machines are located in the foyer of the hospital from which refreshments can be purchased. A coffee machine is located on the ground floor and the first floor adjacent the lift.

Florists
There are no flowers available for purchase in the hospital, although the Red Cross Kiosk does have a selection of artificial flowers and soft toys etc.
