Surgical Unit

Our Surgical Unit is a 20 bed unit located on the ground floor of the hospital

Recovery unit

Maitland Private Hospital has a 9 bed Recovery Unit staffed by registered nurses specifically trained in the post operative care of anaesthetised patients.

High Dependency Unit

Our 4 bed High Dependency Unit is situated within the Surgical Unit and provides care for those patients who require close monitoring.

Pre-Admission Clinic

Our pre-admission clinic ensures clients receive the appropriate medical assessment and information required for optimum care while in hospital.

Co-ordinated discharge program

The discharge program provides support for patients following their discharge from hospital. Our Discharge Planner undertakes regular reviews and facilitates ongoing care for patients who may require it.
