Maitland Private Hospital’s Rehabilitation Unit is a 16 bed inpatient facility purpose built to provide services for people of any age that require rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation

Day programs are also available and tailored to an individual’s needs.

Inpatient Accommodation

12 single and 2 double rooms are available, all with ensuite and individual air conditioning.

Rooms are light and spacious offering a tranquil atmosphere. Rooms have been designed to provide a safe and pleasant environment where clients can interact with their doctor, nurse or therapist.

Facilities

Facilities include:

  • Physiotherapy and gymnasium area

  • Occupational therapy area

Staff

The Maitland Rehabilitation Unit is staffed by experience rehabilitation physicians, specialist rehabilitation nurses and allied health staff qualified in all areas of rehabilitation care. Our staff are committed to providing a well co-ordinated and effective service. Allied health professionals involved in the rehabilitation process include:

  • Therapy Assistants

  • Speech Therapists

  • Physiotherapists

  • Neuro psychologists

  • Rehabilitation Counsellors

A range of rehabilitation programs are available from intensive programs involving hospitalisation to day programs. These include programs in the following areas:
